Marina Expansion at MarineMax - Fort Myers

Golden Marine Systems proudly supplied the floating dock system for the expansion of MarineMax Fort Myers, one of Southwest Florida’s premier full-service marina and yacht sales destinations located in the heart of the “City of Palms.” Positioned along the Caloosahatchee River with convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico, the facility serves as a key hub for recreational boating, yacht sales, and waterfront services throughout the region. The marina expansion was designed to enhance vessel accommodation while providing a durable, upscale waterfront environment capable of withstanding the demanding conditions of the Southwest Florida marine environment.

The project features Golden Marine Systems’ innovative 850 Series single-track floating dock system, engineered for exceptional durability, performance, and long-term reliability. Golden also supplied and installed four new gangways to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless access throughout the marina. The docks are finished with premium brick paver decking, selected for its sophisticated appearance, added mass, low-maintenance characteristics, and outstanding durability in high-traffic marina applications. The paver system not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the facility but also contributes additional stability and resilience to the floating dock structure. Complementing the system are GMS 12-inch adjustable cleats and heavy-duty pile guides, providing secure mooring capabilities, operational flexibility, and dependable performance for a wide range of vessels.
